Bio

Allen Hines has spent 20 years working with the off­ender population. As a community college instructor, he taught employability skills, anger management, decision making, eff­ective communication and character development to thousands of pre-release offenders. Allen has worked in partnership with Probation/Parole Officers in a classroom setting.  He has worked with men, women, and juvenile off­enders.

Allen presented at the NC Safe Schools/Character Ed. Conference, the NC Community College Adult Education Conference and the International Pathways to Resilience in Nova Scotia, Canada. He was an invited guest at a school suspension reduction forum sponsored by NC Public Schools and earned a Character Development certification from the Josephson Institute of Ethics. Allen is a Certified Professional Life Coach specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Coaching.
